- With the Department of Welfare and Social Services in the province of Gauteng, South Africa (no. 006-624 NPO)
- With the Department of Education in Gauteng
- With the Department of Health in Gauteng
Botshabelo is a member of the Johannesburg Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Botshabelo does not yet qualify for Section 18 status in South Africa, nor is it a registered 501(c)3 entity in the United States, both of which enable people to donate with tax deductions. However, efforts are underway to change that.
